We invite all new clients to a free initial consultation. We gather information about their business in order for us to determine and advise on the services required. At this time, before any work commences, we shall provide you with our annual charges in writing.
If your business is new we are here to help you correctly resister with both HM Revenue & Customs and Companies House. For existing businesses we deal directly with previous accountants to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Whether you are a sole trader, partnership, charity or limited company, each year we shall prepare draft figures of your accounts so that we can sit down with you to discuss exactly what the paperwork means and what your tax liabilities may be in an easy to understand manner.
Before we finalise your figures for the year we shall provide you with final copies of your accounts. Once you are happy we shall take care of all the statutory filing requirements for you.
Payroll, Construction Industry Scheme and Workplace Pension Compliance
Small business’ often need to ask questions such as how much do I pay my employee’s? How much holiday entitlement is the employee allowed and do I have to pay sick pay? All these questions can be answered in one simple telephone call or email to us and are covered in the payroll fees you pay.
Real Time Information legislation means that all employers must report to HM Revenue and Customs each time they pay any staff members (including directors). This can put a strain on small business with the time and software needed to perform these new statutory tasks, however we take this strain off your business by not only reporting this information with you but also providing you with all the paperwork you need to keep to stay compliant such as payslips, P45’s and specific employee tax codes.
If you work as part of the Construction Industry Scheme we can help you to avoid the heavy penalties involved by reminding you each month when returns are due, advising you on what information we require and reporting these by the issued deadline.
Heavy compliance is also put onto the employer to ensure that all workplace pension criteria is adhered to and that employers follow their legal duties, once again by rigid deadlines. VAT and Book-keeping
Willows specialises in leading our clients through statutory requirements and helps to put systems in place that will be bespoke to your business, this means we will give you ‘best practise advise’ on how to keep your records and paperwork so that every bit of VAT can be reclaimed where possible, whilst staying compliant. We can also provide you with templates, advice and support should you wish to complete your own VAT returns.
Typically, our fees are as follow;
- Basic Sole Trader accounts and tax return start from £250 + VAT
- Basic Limited Company accounts and tax returns start from £750 + VAT
- Basic Pension Compliance from £150 + VAT
- Basic Subcontractor tax returns £150 + VAT
- Limited Company Formation £150 + VAT
- Monthly Payroll start from £150 + VAT
